We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Physiotherapist to join our team at the Scoliosis Physiotherapy Centre.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong foundation in physiotherapy, with a focus on treating patients with scoliosis and other spinal conditions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and possess a high level of physical fitness.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

A key aspect of this role is collaboration with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients with complex spinal conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients with scoliosis and other spinal conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and education
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in a physiotherapy setting, preferably with a focus on spinal conditions
  • Strong understanding of scoliosis and other spinal conditions, including diagnosis, assessment, and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • High level of physical fitness, with ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
