Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: We support newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- Support for Youths: We offer on-the-job training tailored to youth and mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities.
- Support for Indigenous People: We develop and maintain relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses, and organizations.
