">Job Description:
">- Serving as a Trusted Advisor: Collaborate with business areas to provide guidance on proper data management and mitigate privacy risks.
- Handling Inquiries and Requests: Respond to customer inquiries, manage requests, and complaints through designated channels.
- Data Governance: Track proposed changes to policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring accurate and complete data collection for reporting purposes.
- Information Sharing: Maintain the Privacy Office Source intranet site, ensuring up-to-date information is accessible and accurate.
- Expert Guidance: Provide advice and support to the business on privacy-related matters, ensuring timely resolutions.
- Awareness and Education: Assist in developing communications to enhance privacy awareness among employees.
Key Qualifications:
">- Relevant Experience: 1-3 years in Privacy or Compliance, preferably in insurance or financial services.
- Educational Background: Post-secondary degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
- Professional Designation: Possess or be willing to obtain a professional privacy designation (e.g., CIPP/CIPM).
- Private-Sector Regulations: Demonstrate a good understanding of private-sector privacy regulations and obligations.
- Languages: Proficiency in English required; proficiency in French is not required but may be beneficial.
