Food Service Manager

Islandsand Holdings Incorporated is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and dining areas, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient inventory management and minimize waste.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all food safety and sanitation procedures are followed.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a high level of competence and customer satisfaction.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to optimize inventory levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to our company's high standards of quality and customer service.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and minimize waste.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis, providing insights into kitchen operations and customer feedback.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or related role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and customer service.
