Management Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Management Team Lead to join our retail team at Tidewaters Liquor Store. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in leading and directing the activities of our sales staff.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they have the necessary resources to perform their tasks efficiently
- Hire and train or arrange for training of new staff members, ensuring that they meet the required standards and expectations
- Authorize payments by cheque and maintain accurate financial records
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that stock is always available when needed
- Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to team members as required
- Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales and revenue growth
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
- Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages, and implement solutions to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future
