Job Title: Long Haul Transport Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Transport Driver to join our team at Seta Transport Services Ltd. As a Long Haul Transport Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Accident or incident reports
  • Bill of lading
  • Driver logbook
  • Maintenance and repair reports
  • Trip reports
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience an asset
  • Green job

This is a permanent position with 32 to 40 hours of work per week. The language of work is English.
