Senior Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our Energy team in Calgary, AB. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex engineering tasks that require professional work knowledge and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze civil systems, including stormwater management, roads, and sanitary sewers
  • Compile and verify data related to engineering problems
  • Assist in the development and verification of project control documents and status reports
  • Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data
  • Coordinate with all disciplines, field personnel, clients, or vendors
  • Provide quality control of design
  • Demonstrate leadership, respect, and commitment to quality
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil/structural engineering from an accredited university
  • 10+ years of work experience in the analysis and design of roads and drainage systems in energy or mining sectors
  • Proficiency using Civil 3D preferred
Working Conditions:

Minimal supervision from project lead or project manager. Provides technical direction as appropriate to civil designers and junior civil engineers.
