Accounting Technician II

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician II to join our team at Trueline Valve Corporation in Montreal. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing invoices from suppliers, assigning and coding invoices/bills/expense claims according to company policy.
- Matching purchase orders to each invoice, preparing and cutting checks or making wire transfers.
- Reviewing expense claims and ensuring expenses are accurate and that members are reimbursed accordingly.
- Organizing and maintaining files for contracts, vendors, and accounts payable.
- Assisting with Accounts Receivable and other accounting activities as required in a team working environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum D.E.P. or D.E.C. in business and accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, including tasks such as full cycle Accounts Payable and Government remittances.
- Bilingual French and English.
- MS Office and intermediate Excel skills.
- Positive attitude, highly organized, and good communication skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
