The Broadway Group is seeking an experienced financial professional to join their team as Director of Finance (DOF). Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this key role involves providing strategic financial guidance and operational support. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing effective financial systems, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgeting processes.
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and ensure adherence to standards and guidelines.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, promoting effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements:

  • CPA Designation: Must hold a current and active CPA designation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in senior financial roles, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Skills: Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and applications; experience in financial management and accounting; proficiency in accounting software and tools.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
