Key Responsibilities:- Team Leadership: Assign sales workers to duties, hire and train or arrange for training of staff, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers.
- Sales and Merchandising: Sell merchandise, prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, and resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and conduct performance reviews.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in sales or retail management.
- Permanent position, 32 to 35 hours per week.
- English language proficiency.
