Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Sheridan Convenience and Food Mart. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job expectations.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold in our store, ensuring that they meet the needs of our customers and align with our business goals.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make informed decisions to optimize our store's financial performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills: Analytical, collaborative, hardworking, time management, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, and judgement.
Our store is located in an urban area and operates in a fast-paced retail environment. As an Assistant Manager, you will be required to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
