Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Sheridan Convenience and Food Mart. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting their job expectations.
- Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including inventory management, customer service, and sales.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure the store is operating within budget.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail management experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
