As a key member of the Saje Natural Wellness team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in driving business results and delivering exceptional customer experiences in our retail stores.

Reporting to the Store Manager, this dynamic leader is accountable for leading key aspects of the store's business, including attracting, leading, and developing a high-performing team of Team Members.

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive store environment, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring that all aspects of the in-store experience are delivered consistently and in alignment with our commitment to providing our community members with excellent service and spreading global wellness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Attracting, hiring, and training Team Members who are passionate about creating a culture of wellness
  • Engaging, developing, and retaining Team Members through coaching, collaboration, and recognition
  • Creating and maintaining a succession strategy to ensure the continued growth and development of the team
  • Administering mid-year and annual reviews, setting goals, and delivering feedback to direct reports
  • Partnering with the Store Manager to create annual and quarterly strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Generating business results and achieving key KPIs, including revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and team engagement
  • Displaying strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency
  • Ensuring Team Members are equipped with the product knowledge they need to make intentional recommendations for customers
  • Upholding presentation standards and assessing and acting on merchandising opportunities to elevate the in-store experience
  • Cultivating an environment of excellent customer service, sharing our products and spreading wellness through the in-store experience
  • Taking a proactive and innovative approach to growing the business through community outreach and partnerships
  • Inspiring and uplifting the team through coaching, collaboration, and embodying our core values
  • Creating a team environment where all Team Members consistently experience a sense of belonging and inclusion

  • Retail experience, with a deep understanding of the retail environment and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences
