Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Sales Director for Medical Devices to lead our Primary Care business in Canada. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving product sales by effectively managing and developing an organizational team responsible for all aspects of the commercial Primary Care business across Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Develop plans and strategies for growing the business and achieving the company's sales goals.
  • Culture of Success: Create a culture of success and dedication amongst the sales force and ongoing business and goal achievement.
  • Team Management: Manage the sales teams, operations, and resources to deliver profitable growth.
  • Pricing Strategy: Manage and set pricing levels for all products in the various markets as well as contract price management reviews and expectations.
  • Sales Performance: Establish sales budgets and annual growth targets of sales representatives/Regional Leadership to achieve corporate revenue goals and targets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent combination of experience and education required;
  • MBA considered an asset;
  • Broad knowledge of the Medical Supplies/Device Industry;
  • Ten or more years of Healthcare sales team management experience and five or more years of direct medical device sales and support management experience;
  • Willingness to learn and adopt best practices from management;
  • Ability to collaborate, build followership and buy-in, coach, and drive change across a variety of stakeholder groups in a diverse environment;
  • Stretch oriented, embraces and thrives on challenge;
  • Displays a high sense of urgency to effectively complete the task at hand;
  • Able to travel in the field a minimum of 65% of time;
  • Valid driver's license.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
