Job Summary:The Assistant Manager will be responsible for:
- Determining the type of services to be offered and implementing operational procedures
- Ensuring the accuracy of cash handling and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms
- Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback to team members
- Costing products and services, and negotiating arrangements with suppliers
- Enforcing provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations
- Organizing and maintaining inventory, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
- Negotiating with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participating in marketing plans and implementation
- Leading and instructing individuals, addressing customer complaints or concerns, and providing customer service
- Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods
