We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Aveda in Victoria, BC. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Store Manager to achieve sales, customer service, and operational targets. Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Provide inspirational and personalized customer service to drive sales and customer loyalty.
  • Assist with inventory management, cash reconciliation, and other retail operations tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to achieve sales and customer service targets.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging shopping experience.
  • Assist with training and development of sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to succeed in their roles.

Requirements
  • Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching and mentoring others.
  • Retail operations experience, including inventory management and cash reconciliation.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and special events.
  • Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
