Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Sheridan Seating. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in an industrial setting, with a fast-paced environment and physically demanding tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
