Job Title: Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Sheridan Seating. As a Welder, you will be responsible for interpreting welding process specifications, operating manual or semi-automatic welding equipment, and ensuring that welds meet standards and specifications.

Work Setting

This is a permanent position in an industrial setting, where you will work with aluminum alloys, steel, iron, and heavy metals. You will be required to stand for extended periods and may be required to work overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and blueprints
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
  • Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding equipment
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
