Marketing Strategist for RegTech Product Leadership

Nasdaq is seeking a seasoned product marketer to lead marketing efforts for our Regulatory Technology business within the Financial Technology division. As a critical nexus between product strategy and sales and marketing, this role will play a pivotal part in positioning the company for demand growth.
This strategic leader will leverage deep understanding of products, market, and competitive landscape to craft go-to-market strategies, develop compelling messaging, and empower teams to drive solutions across buyer and customer journeys. Attention to detail and quality are crucial, along with an ability to present value propositions that resonate and articulate solutions to buyers' problems.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with functional marketing areas to build messaging and content for multi-channel marketing programs. Regular collaboration with product managers and sales channels requires strong diplomatic skills, including knowing when to push back and when to engage.
Key Responsibilities:- Product Expertise: Become an authority on product, market, competitive landscape, and buyer needs and behaviors, creating documented materials and presenting regularly to educate internal teams.
- Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with key stakeholders to create comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
- Messaging and Positioning: Work with the Product Team to develop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning throughout the buyer's journey.
- Customer Personas: Develop and educate internal teams on customer personas, value propositions, and compelling messaging to address their needs.
- Marketing Campaigns: Closely collaborate with the Revenue Marketing team to build high-performing marketing campaigns contributing to increased sales pipeline and new customer acquisition.
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, write copy, and provide direction for educational and value-based product content across various channels and purposes.
- Marketing Content: Create compelling marketing content mapping to integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes (blogs, white papers, guides, emails, and videos).
- Solution-Oriented Approach: View challenges as opportunities and focus on a solution-oriented approach to work on a day-to-day basis.
- Positive Work Environment: Contribute to an overall positive work environment and act with integrity and respect for all team members.
- Growth Opportunities: Encourage individual growth opportunities within the team through ownership of individual projects empowering team members to succeed.
- Process Improvement: Seek out opportunities to improve processes and initiatives.
- B2B Experience: 8-10 years of B2B product marketing experience with proven success in launching new products and/or new GTM product promotion.
- Enterprise Experience: Experience in enterprise, regulatory/compliance software is a plus.
- Writing Skills: Excellent writing skills for creating content and collateral (including white papers, data sheets, web copy, social media copy, case studies, etc.).
- Precision-Based Marketing: Experience with persona-based marketing and content generation.
- Collaboration: Successful track record of working in a collaborative, cross-functional team.
- Creativity: Creativity with out-of-the-box thinking and an interest in trying and learning new things.
- Self-Directed: Self-directed, resourceful, and accountable with a positive attitude.
