Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Prepare Meats: Clean meats to prepare for processing or cutting, and ensure a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including answering questions, making recommendations, and selling meats to customers.
  • Meat Cutting and Preparation: Cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, as well as special cuts ordered by customers.
  • Wrapping and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, ensuring they are presented in a clean and attractive manner.
  • Meat Processing: Remove bones from meat, weigh meats for sale, and grind meats as needed.
  • Training and Development: Train meat cutters and provide guidance on best practices and procedures.
  • Display and Presentation: Prepare special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products, and shape, lace, and tie roasts, other meats, poultry, and seafood.
  • Special Orders: Prepare special orders, including cutting and packaging meats to customer specifications.
Work Environment

Our butcher shop is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high level of quality in all aspects of meat preparation and sales.

Requirements
  • Standing for Extended Periods: Ability to stand for extended periods, with regular breaks as needed.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring quality and presentation in all aspects of meat preparation and sales.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Good hand-eye coordination, with the ability to cut and prepare meats safely and efficiently.
