About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at CAE. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in determining the inventory strategy to achieve the target service level while minimizing the inventory value.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Accuracy: Control inventory accuracy of physical goods and correct discrepancies.
  • Inventory Optimization: Identify the appropriate inventory level needed to meet demand and inventory turns.
  • Item Master Management: Maintain and control item master parameters.
  • Inventory Minimization: Minimize inactive and surplus parts while covering for long-term support.
  • Inventory Variance Control: Control inventory variations and cycle count activities.
  • Data Analysis: Produce various data analysis related to inventories.
  • Reporting: Analyze and extract data from systems, manipulate them to build complex reports.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand processes, requirements, and possible improvements.
Your Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in automated manufacturing engineering, LOM (Logistics Operations Management), industrial engineering, or BAA with a specialization in LOM.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience in a similar position.
  • Language: Bilingualism is required.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in the aeronautics field is an asset.
  • Certifications: CPIM from APICS is an asset.
  • Skills: Power BI knowledge is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Team player, results-oriented, actively participates in ongoing improvement, dynamism, and expanded collaboration.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
