About the Role

The Payroll and Accounting Specialist will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial reports, and performing various accounting and payroll tasks.

This includes completing monthly accountabilities checklists, assisting in the analysis and audit of financial information, maintaining financial records, and preparing deposits and reconciling bank statements.

The Payroll and Accounting Specialist will also provide support to the Payroll Administrator in managing payroll for our workforce, including navigating the ADP Workforce payroll system, addressing employee and management payroll inquiries and issues, and ensuring correct payroll deductions are applied and updated as necessary.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with post-secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field, experience in automated payroll systems, preferably ADP, and proficiency in technology, including office productivity programs, databases, and accounting and payroll software.
