Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial reporting and analysis support to our management team, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is available to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and modeling to identify trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to management.
  • Accounting and Financial Transactions: Classify, record, and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounts.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Develop and maintain financial systems and processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, accounting, and finance teams, to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available.
Requirements
  • Education: 3-year college diploma in accounting or finance.
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of accounting and finance experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of Canadian GAAP and IFRS, accounting concepts and principles, and financial analysis and modeling.
  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
