About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our Immigration Department at Sterna Global Immigration Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our immigration lawyers and consultants in providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Manage Client Files: Ensure accurate and timely management of client files, including document preparation, filing, and organization.
  • Support Immigration Lawyers and Consultants: Provide administrative support to our immigration lawyers and consultants, including preparing and reviewing documents, conducting research, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain Filing Systems and Records: Develop and maintain efficient filing systems and records to ensure easy access to client information and documents.
  • Communicate with Clients and Stakeholders: Provide excellent communication and customer service skills to clients and stakeholders, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, bookkeeping, and other duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Acrobat Reader.
