Job Summary: As a Food Service Supervisor at DBA Taco Del Mar, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, training staff, and maintaining quality control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and deadlines
  2. Supervise and coordinate activities of staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
  3. Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols
  4. Estimate and manage ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
  5. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high standards are met
  6. Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  7. Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  8. Prepare and submit regular reports to management
  9. Supervise and inspect the assembly of trays to ensure presentation standards

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced restaurant environment with high pressure and tight deadlines
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in food service or a related field
  • Permanent position with 35-40 hours of work per week
  • English as the primary language of work
