Pita Pit Tyee Plaza Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pita Pit Tyee Plaza. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food and service meet our high standards of quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy kitchen.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage the inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Supervise Kitchen Staff: Train and supervise our kitchen staff to ensure they are equipped to prepare and serve high-quality food.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of our food and service to meet our standards.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns.
  • Maintain Records: Accurately record and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Prepare Reports: Prepare and submit regular reports to management on kitchen operations and performance.

This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will work 30 to 40 hours per week and will be required to have a strong knowledge of our culinary genres.
