Key Responsibilities- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales staff are assigned to their duties in a fair and efficient manner.
- Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, hire, and train new staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Authorize Payments: Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order Merchandise: Order merchandise and supplies as needed to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
- Sell Merchandise: Sell merchandise to customers and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Prepare Reports: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Resolve any issues that may arise, including customer complaints, supply shortages, and other problems that may impact the store's operations.
- Organize Inventory: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and that customers have access to the products they need.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor who has a strong background in retail management and customer service. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and ensuring that the store is run efficiently and effectively.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
