As an Asset Protection Representative with Loblaw, you will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity of our stores and protecting our assets. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for individuals who are detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.

About the Role:

  • Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other Asset Protection Representatives to investigate provincial or national Organized Retail Crime (ORC) cases when they arise
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies regularly
  • Detect and investigate internal investigations; compile and present evidence for court or arbitration purposes
  • Detect and identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Build and maintain store partnerships through management meetings & huddles; coach and mentor colleagues regarding Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Participate in conducting store-level audits
  • Participate in Community Events
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends (40-hour work week)

Requirements:

  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, and Powers of Arrest and CCTV and/or surveillance systems & have a working knowledge of Windows-based applications (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
  • A high degree of initiative and integrity required to be successful in a dynamic environment

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and employee stock purchase program.
