Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving, as well as light housekeeping duties.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
  • Administer medications and perform other medical tasks as required.
  • Transport patients to appointments and engage in outdoor activities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, Nursing Aide Certificate, Health Care Aide Certificate.
Work Environment:

Our Healthcare Support Workers work in a variety of settings, including patients' homes, nursing homes, and group homes. They may also work in rural areas and travel to different locations as required.
