Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Specialist to join our team at All Canadian building products Ltd. As a key member of our inventory management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and distribution of merchandise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Order merchandise in a timely manner to meet business needs, while minimizing waste and excess inventory.
  • Establish work schedules to ensure that tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with frequent lifting and bending.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
