Chief Risk Officer

Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Risk to lead its Enterprise Risk Management Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the Corporation's risk management efforts and providing assurance to senior executives and the Board of Directors regarding risk management, strategy, and organizational performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks and ensure the Corporation's continued success.
- Provide risk management advice and guidance to senior executives and the Board of Directors.
- Lead the development and implementation of risk management policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with other business stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and central agency policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, commerce, or a related field.
- Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
- Professional risk management or financial analyst designation is a strong asset.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management and risk programs.
- Minimum 10 years of leadership and management experience, preferably in an international business environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in both official languages is highly desirable.
