Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Corporation's Enterprise Risk Management Program, ensuring alignment with CCC's strategic objectives.
  • Provide risk management advice and guidance to senior executives and the Board of Directors, ensuring effective risk governance and oversight.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ensuring the Corporation's continued success and reputation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Vice-President, Corporate Services & Chief Financial Officer (CFO), and the Board of Directors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the Corporation's risk management practices remain current and effective.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, commerce, or a related field.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA) or equivalent.
  • Professional risk management or financial analyst designation is a strong asset.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in risk management and risk programs, with a minimum of 10 years of leadership and management experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with experience presenting to and working with boards and senior committees.
  • Proficiency in both official languages is highly desirable.
