We are seeking a Contract UX Strategist to join our team at Kanopi Studios. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the user research process from open-ended discovery to concept testing.
You will work collaboratively with our Content team to formulate deep insights that blend UX and content strategy, creating project deliverables such as user flows, customer journey maps, and information architecture.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Lead the entire lifecycle of user research, including IA, surveys, tree testing, and user journeys
- Synthesize research techniques and data insights to provide actionable strategic recommendations
- Work collaboratively with our Content team to create deep insights that blend UX and content strategy
- Create project deliverables such as user flows, customer journey maps, and information architecture
This is a 100% remote contract position, requiring an hourly compensation commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional experience in UX strategy, 3+ years working within an agency setting, preferably remotely or with a distributed project team.
A strong portfolio showcasing specific examples of your UX process and outputs is essential. You should be able to translate high-level strategic concepts into easily digestible client-friendly information and offer valuable insights on projects regardless of budget size.

SalaryThe estimated salary for this position is $70-$120 per hour, depending on experience.
