We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team at the Ontario Public Service. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders to identify the underlying causes and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to improve communication and swallowing skills, including speech, language, and cognitive-linguistic abilities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, educators, and families, to provide comprehensive care and support.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing disorders, as well as strategies for prevention and management.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with best practices in the field of speech-language pathology to ensure evidence-based practice.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists Certification.
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
  • 2 years of experience in speech-language pathology, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting.
Working Conditions:
  • 29 hours per week.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Criminal record check.
Language:
  • English.
