About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at Debi Finishing Carpentry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality carpentry services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Planning: Prepare detailed layouts and designs for carpentry projects, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Material Selection and Procurement: Source and procure high-quality materials, including wood, wood substitutes, and other materials as required.
  • Construction and Installation: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create custom carpentry pieces, including building foundations, installing floor beams, and erecting walls and roof systems.
  • Finishing Touches: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to complete carpentry projects.
  • Project Management: Schedule and coordinate work on sites, ensuring timely completion of projects and meeting client expectations.
  • Cost Estimation and Management: Estimate costs and materials required for projects, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
