Job Title: Head Baker

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team at The Cupcake Lounge. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for leading the production of high-quality baked goods, managing inventory, and supervising baking personnel.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory goods, including cakes, pastries, and breads.
  • Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are stocked and organized.
  • Supervise and train baking personnel to ensure that they are meeting quality and productivity standards.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a bakery or related field.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in baking and pastry arts preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
