Anthropology Instructor

John Abbott College is seeking a qualified individual to fill a part-time contract representing a full and/or part-time workload in the Anthropology department.

Key Responsibilities:

• To teach Anthropology and/or Social Science Research Methods courses to students enrolled in pre-university and/or professional programs.
• To develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's academic standards.
• To assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
• To collaborate with colleagues to achieve common objectives and contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• A Master's or equivalent degree in Anthropology or a related field.
• Knowledge of Quantitative and Research Methods in the Social Sciences.
• Several years of related teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred.
