Anthropology Professor

John Abbott College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Anthropology and/or Social Science Research Methods courses to students enrolled in pre-university and/or professional programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Anthropology and/or Social Science Research Methods courses to students
• Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
• Assess student learning and provide feedback
• Collaborate with departmental team to achieve common objectives

Qualifications:

• Master's or equivalent degree in Anthropology
• Master's degree in a related field may be considered
• Knowledge of Quantitative and Research Methods in the Social Sciences preferred
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level preferred
• Excellent English communication skills essential
• Bilingualism (English/French) and ability to teach in French are preferred
