About the Opportunity
The Experiential Partnerships Specialist will collaborate with the Experiential Learning and Career Development team to create and implement opportunities for Toronto learners to gain practical, career-relevant experiences. This includes internships, projects, events, hackathons, volunteer or service-learning opportunities, and company visits. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and running large-scale programs, working in a student-focused environment, and understanding industry hiring trends.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement experiential learning opportunities for Toronto learners
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute programs
Conduct research on industry hiring trends and prepare students for careers
Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, faculty, alumni, and external partners
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 3-5 years' experience supporting career development at a higher education institution or job-focused training program
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to work in a highly collaborative role and adapt to evolving priorities
Additional Attributes
Forward thinking and innovative, with a passion for networking and making new connections with regional employers
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple audiences and maintain confidentiality around complex and sensitive issues
Experience with CRM, preferably Salesforce
