Job Description

We are looking for a caring and responsible individual to provide top-notch care for infants and children in a home-based setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents;
  • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children;
  • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social development;
  • Keeping records of daily activities and health information regarding children;
  • Maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home;
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals;
  • Supervising and caring for children;
  • Taking children to and from school and to appointments.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience as a nanny or caregiver, an asset;
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
