Ability to speak and write well in English needed.

If you are detail-oriented, like working 1-1 with clients, are dependable, honest, nurturing and fun-loving you are just the right person. Job types available: part-time

We have ongoing relevant educational training modules to help you grow in your knowledge while you work.

**Requirements**:

- Smartphone savvy for use during shifts to clock in and out and do visit notes
- Complete a criminal record check
- Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on
- Reliable transportation
- Professional demeanour and respectful attitude
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping + meal prep tasks
- Home support worker certification preferred (but not necessary)
- Flexible availability
- Previous caregiving and or elder care experience
- 2+ personal references
- WE **DO NOT** HIRE INDIVIDUALS FROM OVERSEAS.

**Caregiver Tasks Include**:

- Meal prep + planning
- Housekeeping (including laundry)
- Personal care + hygiene
- Medication routines
- Transport to appointments and errands
- Dementia care
- Quality time + companionship
- Assistance with client pets (dogs + cats)
- Overnight care
- Shifts range from morning, afternoon, evening and overnight

**Job Type**: Part-time

Part-time hours: 0-20 hours per week

**Salary**: $22-$25.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

**Schedule**:

- Mornings, Afternoons, Evenings

**Ability to commute/relocate**:

- Port Alberni, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $22-$25.00 per hour

**Schedule**:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed
