Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' physical and cognitive functioning to identify areas of need and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Implement and evaluate treatment plans, using evidence-based practices and techniques to promote client progress and independence.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to promote a culture of care and respect.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing education and professional development.
Requirements
  • Registration with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists.
  • 3-5 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a clinical rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care.
