About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salon Manager to lead our pet grooming team at PET PALACE hotel, daycare & grooming. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our grooming salon, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management
    • Direct and control daily grooming operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and high-quality services.
    • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire, train, and supervise a team of skilled groomers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional services.
    • Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service and responding to feedback.
  • Business Development
    • Manage contracts for advertising or marketing strategies to promote our services and attract new customers.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and drive business growth.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Order supplies and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient operations.
    • Arrange schedules and coordinate with other departments as needed.
  • Performance Metrics
    • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as customer satisfaction, revenue growth, and staff productivity.
    • Report on performance metrics to management and make recommendations for improvement.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • Experience
      • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Language
      • English language proficiency.
    • Work Environment
      • 30 to 40 hours per week.
