Job Title: Assistant Front Desk Manager

Urgo Hôtels Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Front Desk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front desk and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Ensure the efficient management of front desk activities, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and key card management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Team Management: Assist in the supervision and development of front office staff, ensuring they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the Director to manage the front office budget, ensuring cost control and inventory management.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in team management or customer service.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency in hotel management computer systems, such as Opera or Iqware.
  • Autonomy and ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Bilingualism is a plus.
