Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Junior Accountant to join our team at Zip Brands Inc. as a Financial Operations Specialist. This part-time role is ideal for someone looking for supplemental income and flexibility in their work schedule, with the added benefit of being an ON SITE position.
In this capacity, you will oversee the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards. As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, performing timely bank and credit card reconciliations, submitting ROE, analyzing accounts, managing accounts receivables and payables, reviewing and submitting payroll, and supporting budgeting processes. Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the financial health of the organization by handling various accounting tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (Preferred) or equivalent experience. They will have proven experience in accounting roles, with at least 1-2 years of experience, and familiarity with budgeting processes and financial analysis. Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage and Excel is also required. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management is essential, as well as excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
