We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Veg Delight Pizza Bakery & Restaurant Limited. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our catering services, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
- Manage Inventory and Supplies: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all necessary stock is ordered and maintained in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to prevent any issues from arising.
- Prepare Budgets and Reports: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Communicate with Clients: Address customers' complaints or concerns, and negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, various locations, on-site customer service, restaurant, catering firm, fine dining establishment, and bakery.
- Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and tight deadlines.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, recognized employer, work term: permanent, work language: English, and hours: 40 hours per week.
