Catering Service Manager Job Description

R & R Catering Services Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and organized Catering Service Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget to ensure profitability.
  • Revenue Monitoring: Monitor revenues to determine labour costs and make informed decisions.
  • Staff Management: Monitor staff performance, recruit staff, set staff work schedules, and train staff to ensure high-quality service.
  • Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient operations.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best deals.
  • Client Relations: Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities and address customers' complaints or concerns.
