Job Title: IT Security Analyst

Nexus Systems Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Security Analyst to join our team. As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems and data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating potential security threats.
  • Collaborate with IT application owners and risk advisors to identify and address security-related issues.
  • Develop and maintain IT security awareness programs for employees.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs to identify potential security incidents.
  • Provide technical support for security-related issues and incidents.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT security, with a focus on risk management and compliance.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in risk assessment and risk self-control assessment (RCSA) within banking/financial institutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, software and hardware, end-of-life management.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in vulnerability and patch management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to stakeholders and individuals at various levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Data loss prevention (DLP) experience.
Education:

A post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related IT field is an asset.
