Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team at Siemens Canada. As a key member of our Customer Service team, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining low-voltage drive applications in industrial settings.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and relevant experience in fault finding, commissioning, and maintenance of AC & DC VFD drive applications.
You will work closely with other team members to provide exceptional customer service and ensure the quality of service meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in fault finding, commissioning, and maintenance of AC & DC VFD drive applications
- Commissioning and maintenance on Motion Control Drive range of products
- Experience with Siemens Drives equipment (asset)
- Basic programming & PLC knowledge, experience in fault finding
- Basic knowledge of Siemens TiA portal, Step 7 programming platform (asset)
- Relevant experience in a similar or appropriate role
