We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team at Allegiance Construction Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to create high-quality finishes.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems to ensure structural integrity and safety.
- Fabricate and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to meet client expectations.
- Estimate costs and materials to ensure accurate budgeting and project management.
This is a permanent position with a regular schedule of 30-34 hours per week. The work environment is varied, with opportunities to work on different projects and sites.
Requirements- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1-2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Ability to work accurately and reliably, with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Dental plan.
- English language support.
